    that was my guess too. I think when someone built this car, they took a motorhome engine/trans and put it in this car. the engine and trans are both my71 early 360..

    lol. shes not going to drive it to hard until I tell her too. I just mini tubbed it. she hasent driven it yet. im trying to get it done for autorama and don't really have time to take the trans out to convert it to a standard tailstock. maybe after autorama lol. I just need it to last long...

    yup! everything is the same except the tailstock. I was going to take the trans out and convert it to a standard tailstock, but I wanted to see if it would hold up for a season till I put my 340/727 in it out of my swinger.

    I don't have a slip yolk in the trans. the trans has no tailstock. its got a yolk in the back with this driveshaft.

    hey guys. i have a 1969 cuda i am working on and was wondering if anyone has a center to center driveshaft length that i can go off of. its a notchback, small block, 8.75, 7260 u-joints, and a 727. everything is in its stock location. thanks guys!

    hey guys. i just scored a really nice complete 8.25 a body, bbp, w/ a 3:23 sure grip from craigslist. it is in need of a backing plate. does anyone know if the backing plates from a 7.25 or an 8.75 are the same? i know a 8.75 has a 5 bolt flange. i just have a set of 10'' plates laying around...

    selector shaft repair sleeve

    just wondering if anyone has seen, heard, or knows where to get them??? a friend of mine builds transmissions out of his garage, has a bunch of valve bodies he cant use because the selector shafts are worn where the seals seal on them... i hope that made sence... thanks for any advice!
