    flying things?

Speaking of flying things, was in L.A. today. 10 frwy off on Crenshaw. other side of crenshaw, next to the offramp, what looks like a downed light helicopter. With some guy messing with it. And what looks like the main rotor(with most of the blades missing) spinning around and around. And nobody...

    Would You Trust This Vehicle

Pull a valve cover. Its the short, low speed trips that will absolutely kill an engine. Of course the oil is clean, they just changed it.

    Cool story... SR-71 Blackbird

Kelly Johnson genius. He had a design for a jet fighter ready to go in 1941. Policy at the time would not allow one company to design both airframe and engines.

    Lucky me

At night at 70 MPH driving my 06 charger I got squeezed between a stalled vehicle in my lane and a big rig hauling a flatbed in the lane to my right. I tucked in with that flatbed so tight that my passenger side rear view mirror was folded in. Not a scratch, not even on the mirror housing.

    rodents is so nasty :(

Saw signs of vermin in my garage once. Set out a rat trap. Classic one with the spring loaded wire. Came back later and that rat was making off with my trap. He had that trap on top of a 5' chainlink fence despite a perfect neck strike on that rat. Those things are tough.

I have some experience with constant flow mechanical fuel injection. Both stacks and blown. Like the other poster said (I ain't gonna call him big dummy cause he ain't) they aren't to streetable. But if your truely hard-core its doable. The good. Stacks can give unbelievable throttle response...

Brush fire jumps Interstate 15 in California, cars burning on highway

I live near the bottom of that pass. Been up and down it a hundred times. And it ain't no joke. Real steep and you can see clouds funnel thru it. Everything's worse in the pass. Blown over big rigs are a common sight when the winds kick up. I have seen down hill traffic averaging 90-100 MPH...
