I run Hedman Hustler fenderwell headers(1 7/8 ) in my Early-A 66 Dart.TTi sells under chassis 1 3/4 step headers now.Good luck.

Save yourself time and aggravation.....get them coated..money well spent.JMO

Most guys would just undo exhaust at the headers and tie them out of the way(not remove complete exhaust)LOL.Anyways,I,m good Josh,just have a ton of stuff to do today.Weather is cold this morning(29*F)Gotta have everything put away for winter days.:D

Just remember if you ever have to remove the trans.,you don,t want to have to remove your complete exhaust to get the trans. out.:D

I think your gonna want to add a bit more length to the pipe Josh.You,ll want your mufflers back under the rear seat area,with tailpipes added or turndowns/turnouts.Think of where your exhaust fumes will exit.:D

Josh..DON,T I repeat DON,T use a floor jack to try and bent.Guys have been stuck with them hanging low for years now.:wack:

Power steering...want headers?Gotta go fenderwell or look for some 340 manifolds.Also certain year 360 mag. manifolds for better breathing.:D

Go stainless steel if you can afford it.Mines been on my car going on 15 yrs.

I ordered my Hedman Husler 1 7/8 coated fenderwell hedders thru Summit(few yrs ago).If I recall they were close to $800 $$.They,re still in the same condition as when I bought them.:D

Come on John noes the time to set up the jig and start making Dillinger Early- A Body headers.LOL.Guys are always looking for another option other than Spitfires or TTI,s.There,s always fenderwells.Good luck.:D

TTi step headers are about the biggest you,ll get without cutting your fenderwells.I was in the same boat before the tti,s came out with the step headers.I ended up cutting and using the Hedman Husler 1 7/8 fenderwell headers.Good luck.

Power steering or manual?1966 Barracuda,s came with 273,s.Are you sure they,re 273 manifolds?

TTi makes 1 3/4 step hedders(chassis),that 408 is gonna wanna breath.JMO P.S spend once and get the coated ones.

408 with Hedman Huslers,I bought from Summit.I don,t have the part # off the top of my head(has been 2 yrs)Go for the coated ones if you decide to go this route$$$.:D

I,d check with Summit first for the same mounts.Sometimes they sell parts cheaper than the supplier.Maybe bulk buying?I know they sell Dougs hedders cheaper than Dougs.Just sayin,to save you $$$

1 7/8 Heddman Huslers on my 66 Dart race car..bought 1 month before TTi made 1 3/4 step hedders.Figures eh!

TTi sells hedders also for Early-A,but are pricey also for COATED ones.You can take your crossmember of and notch it for duals.Good luck.

Won,t fit early-A,you,ll need either.. SpitFires Dougs TTi 273 or 318 manifolds or with some custom work,theres a magnum manifold that will work with some work.Good luck.

Sounds like a common problem,I,d replace them all while your at it.JMO

I haven,t had any burned paint with these being coated $$$$,you can actually work on the engine after about 10mins after a pass.I can also hold my hand about 3-4 inches from them after shutting down.The coating works amazing and no discolouring so far(after 1 year)
