I need to learn a bit on balancing a 360 engine. Does the machine shop need the block to do an internal balance or can I just bring the crank pistons and rods?

On a 360, if you deck the block to make the pistons at 0 deck height, what else has to change or be machined? Will the push rods work and the intake line up? Please all the info I could get would be great. Thank you Brad

I took a set of heads into the shop to have them magged and the shop told me pressure testing is better and they did not do that but told me where to take them. My question is does this sound normal to you guys? I have not herd of it, I have allways been told to get them magnafluxed.
