I taken out all the valves and one was stuck and the intakes had so much soot that one was glued in ..I had to soak it with kroil and brake cleaner to get it loose..what I found on three valves,was that they were really hot..or what I think was really hot.i took pics ,maybe one of you head gurus...

since I bent two pushrods,iv pulled out the motor and tore it apart..my question is does bending pushrods warrant changing out the cam bearings..im concerned about the excessive force on the cam and bearings when they bent..any ideas..j

If one takes a new cam never run..measures the lobes from the base to the top of the lobe at lifter contact point should they all be the same....yes ...but how much of a tolerance is acceptable since grinding is just about the most accurate way of machining how much do manufacturers allow...

I started to paint my intake man yesterday after taking it to work and beadblasting it,,,i went to paint it...got it all tapped up and discovered a crack on top of the heat crossover where the plenum attaches..this is a torker 340..now i want to replace it ..which manifold should i use for this...

I just got a new melling s/b oil pump drive took it out of the box and its not pinned shaft to gear...how long have they not been pinning these and does anyone else have them that arnt pinned...i dont think i want to put it in a new motor without pinning it..tx...j

iv just come in from the garage after installing the milodin tray...its cold out there..anyway iv looked at all close points and dont know exactly how much clearance i need. the closest spot is rod bolts near the louvers for drainage..approximately 1/16 to 3/32 of an inch is that too...
