i run a 9" rear with Detroit locker. car is used street and strip. apart from a full spool, which ain't street friendly, what other options are there apart from the clutch type center. the locker works well but am over the constant clicking every time i turn a corner at lower speeds. cheers

been building my own 727's up for years now with no issues, until now. in N it sits there fine, bring the rpm up and she does a quick jerk forward and then reverse. have noticed 2-3 shift is very harsh as well. the two may be related? not encountered this before so thought it better to ask.

what would the average temp of a built 727 be. this is a 410 sb with s475 turbo and 3800 converter, foot brake launching for now. looking at using my ecu to turn a fan on the cooler on at a set point. cheers

hi all....are the b&m and hurst promatic 2 shifter brackets and lever on the trans the same. also are the cables the same. have used hurst promatic for years now but have been offered a b&m pro stick and the guy is saying brackets cable and lever are different. cheers

got the 727 apart for inspection and have decided to put new frictions and steels in her. counted the piston springs and was 9 of them. I use a Transgo tf3 kit and was wondering how many springs to use with it. also I have a rollerised rear support. is it worth using on a 600hp street...

hi all... got a 727 with deep pan, 11" converter and largish cooler. just wondering how much trans fluid it should take. darn dipstick hard to read. using dex3.:burnout:trans has just been rebuilt. have put 1 quart in converter before install. cheers
