I'm using bc/cc and am not happy with some tiger striping on the hood and it has been clear coated. Is it ok to sand with 320 or 400 and reshoot the base and clear or would it be better to seal it before base/clear? Do I need to sand off all the clear coat first? I did talk to the local body...

I'll be putting down 2k sealer prior to base and was advised: 1. Don't sand sealer, just spray base shortly after it is applied for a chemical bond. 2. Spray sealer and let cure over night, sand, tack, and paint next day. OK, what's best? Neither?? Either??

I'll be using Nason base/clear and am wondering about the masking for the top and rear stripe. I've been told to spray the base color then mask for the second color, paint, then spay the clear. I need to know if this is right and if so, how soon after spraying the base color can I mask it off...

I need to know how to remove the front fender trim on my 1966 Dart GT, it runs along the top of the fender. Is it clipped on and I pop it off, or do I disassemble underneath and remove nuts? Any advice greatly appreciated. thanks.

I've started paint the interior trim and I'm going with 1967 cc1, medium blue metalic. It now has two coats of base and has a satin finish. Stay with that finish or clear coat? What do you think:

My dart needs buffing or wet sanding and I was wondering where to start. It's a non-metalic light blue with a dark blue top, no clear coat. No oxidation to speak of but looks like starlings on prune juice graced it at one time. There are so many products on the market I don't really know...
