If you have three slants available I vote slant six. I'd like to make a modified w/6 and 4speed. nothing cooler then a slant and a finned offy valve cover
 
You can find the 331s with the extended bellhousing real cheap cause no one wants to mess with the extended bell. My vote is for a gen1 Hemi
if you see a real cheap 331...you let me know and i will buy it....
 
OK i went to vegas last weekend and got the car...
i am not going with the slant 6 its too new..
if i was going to go the "new" route i would go with the 383...
i have decided on the flat head six,( as long as its a runner when i get some free time i will go and try to get it running) i just scored a t-5 mustang trans for free so now i have the task of mating it to the flat head .. i got a bunch of extra parts with the chrysler so if you know anyone that needs a stock rearend, wood spoke wheels or fenders let me know...
