A friend of mine has a Barracuda that he rolled going down the interstate several years ago. He's thinking about letting it go because he's tired of paying for storage. I asked him about the manual steering/column on it and he said he's to the point that he'd rather sell it as a whole car. I'm considering getting it for the steering and parting the rest, but I'm not sure what would be worth keeping...

Anyways, it's either a 64 or a 66 and it's rough. The roof was destroyed and has since been chopped off. What it does have is a complete drivetrain (273/904/7.25). Last I knew, the engine ran, but since then the radiator has been removed and some of the accessories have been removed as well. The 904 is a push button and is all there so I imagine there is some market for that. The trunk has some dings but I think it would be driver worthy. The rear bumper is also in driver quality. All of the door components were saved, but the doors were scrapped. I think there may be 1 piece of glass left which is the left rear passenger glass. He said the carpet has regular traffic wear but I imagine it would be use-able for a driver. Seat frames (not covers) are intact. Dash is decent but may be tweaked on once side. Various knobs are alright, as well as in the instrument cluster.

If I were to get it, and since we are supposed to put prices on the ads that we make, what would some of those pieces that I listed go for?

push button trans makes it a 64
trunk and floor pans are worth something if not rusted out, really any body panels that are in good shape,

Buckets for 150 cluster for 25 and so on. Ebay can give you an idea. If it is push button then it is a 64.

I thought it was a '64 but I couldn't remember for sure. They are buckets, but the covers and foam isn't in very good shape. It has been stored inside so I imagine the floors/trunk should be in decent condition. I guess I'll go ahead and get it even though his and my schedule won't allow it to happen until December.

EVERY part that is good that will unbolt is worth saving. Won't take you long to sell them here or on Ebay.

Well December aint that far off. When you are ready get pics and we can tell you what stuff should be worth by the pics.

These are the pictures that I have of it right now. Some of them aren't the best. Almost brings tears to your eyes seeing a car like this...

The 9 inch brakes wont sell. The push button shifter and dash plastic sells for 25. The inner fenders if ok are 100 each. The floor if you drill the spot welds is 500. And so forth.

Wow I had no idea... I guess that's what you get with a mopar :D If it were a chevy I'd probably get more from scrapping it! :P

Every part that is good will sell. Hell, the 2 plastic oval firewall plugs will get $10 on ebay. The wiring, head and tail light, dash, and engine harness will sell. Exhaust manifolds $50-$100, the gas pedal and firewall linkage is all V8 only stuff, worh atleast $50 or more. The trans and kickdown linkage will sell. The steering wheel will go fast, depending if it has cracks or not $50 and up, tear the cover off of it and see the condition. Like I said, every good part 8)

Also noticed the wiper switch has the little black button, that is for the electric washer fluid pump, not real common on an early a-body, I sold just the switch on ebay a couple years ago for $35. If the electric washer pump on the inner fender is good that will sell fast too.

Wiper motor and linkage under the dash, glove box liner, rear seat chrome, trunk prop rod, "PLYMOUTH" LETTERING ON TRUNK...ALL GREAT ITEMS TO SELL.

I'm not sure. I haven't seen it in person so all I have to go off of is these pictures and the information I've received from the owner.

That modified slip drive shaft is worth something also. The headlight rings that are on the air cleaner bring decent money also.

Save the Vin plate and fender tag, check for a build sheet under the back seat ( if there will be very brittle)

where in Ks are you? if the 7.25 is a sure-grip I would be interested-- I have single spinners to swap so it will still roll, Lawrence

I'm not sure... I want to say it's open but I could be wrong. I won't get the car for about a month to know for sure. If you contact me then I'll have better information for you.
