1965 Barracuda Form. S VIN question

I have a question on my 65 car.
Vehicle; 1965 Barracuda Formula S (I have the original window sticker too!)
VIN: V8551xxxxx
The 10 digit sequence is: Line , Price Class , Year , Plant , 6 digit sequence.

The VIN indicates: Valiant 8 cyl., Taxi, 1965, LA plant, 1xxxxx (100001 is the start at LA)

There is no Line code for the Barracuda....so the Valiant tag is OK. but Taxi???

The VIN decoder I used was from the turbine mopar site.

8 = Barracuda ( for Belvedere/Coronet this is for Taxis)

I have a 65 Formula as well. (in midst of a complete resto)
I was wondering if you would post a picture of the window sticker. I have only seen one other 65 window sticker listing the Formula S package. Feel free to blank out the VIN or you can email a picture privately. Either way, I'd sure love to see the window sticker.

Thanks for posting the window sticker.
If you have a fender tag for the car, the Formula option will be indicated on the tag with the number 2 under the "c".

The Vin is good but to truly know the color, trim, day it was built etc you need to decode the Fender Tag. I was suprised that when I did mine how late my car was. I wish I could find out how many cars where built the last week of the run..............
