First thing, hello everyone I am Ron. My brother Don and used the same tax man. Five years ago he came to my house do my taxes and said that he bought 75 cars and he was going into the used car business and he had an old dart that I needed to buy. I said no thankyou I am finishing 65 GS. After three years he was geting out of the car business and the price was less then half of what it started so Don's brother-in low bought it and he took the car apart and bought parts car (for the v8 K-frame) and factory buckits and a console. After taking it apart and lost intrest. After a year or so he sold it to me so now I have 1970 Dart Swinger. I bought it in 2009 and we have been planing and buying parts for the build. We just built a rotisserie and the Dart is the first car on it. I have a 1972 360 with 70 340 heads ,727 trans and a 8.75 323 posi. We are going to paint it this summer and try to get it on the road next spring or summer.

Good story!

That looks to be a nice home built rotissierei (soory bout spelling, lol).

DarTT, I found a blueprint the int (E:\Dart Rotisserie.mht). We used steel that me and my dad had saved. Our rotisserie is much heavier then the blueprint shows.

As for now silver with black interior with black vinal top and bumble bee stripe. Like this 2010 challenger. My spelling is very bad and I can't get the spell check work. sorry!

haha, im tryin pretty hard but no luck for now. I also think a link in this forum can help other young guns build their own rotisserie. I dont think theres any other rotisserie blue prints on here. Hopefully we can post a how to forum on it eventually lol.

Welcome aboard Ron. You have the right idea with the rotisserie for sure. It saves a lot of bending and rolling around on the floor, and it's probably the best piece of ewquipment I ever built for working on cars.
It looks like your blueprints may be on your own computer and that's why no one can access them. :)

Ok,try (rotisserie free blueprint). I just did and it was the first one on the list at Google. This weekend I will get some good pics of the rotisserie and post them. Our rotisserie is modifided quit alot from the blueprint.

Odd link to this site, don't you think? It is good to see another non-GTO/Chevelle broiught back to life. They are really under appreciated models. I have a 65 4-4-2, my first car and I really like the lines of those cars! I spent several months at NATTC Millington back in the early 70s and have often thought of revisiting.

Looks like a very nice shop you have. What is that material on the ceiling? It looks very clean. Very nice work on the Buicks.

Thanks for the link on the rotissiere. I think I already have 5 or 6 sets of plans but this one is nice and clear, easy to follow.

Good luck with the build btw! I have a 70 myself.
