Jealous!!
Don't be. You have a beautiful intact car. If this car hadn't come disassembled with all the parts for the swap, I don't know if I'd do this again. It's been a fun learning experience, but a pain, too. Make sure you like welding and grinding (alot) before you pull the trigger. All of that could put your nice paint at risk.

Power up test. Bumper installed. Had to replace all the bulb sockets. They were trashed.

Next up. Probably could have saved the tunnel and the seat mounts, but I figured it would be easier to pop the whole pan out. Less fitting and welding in the long run.

Leaf springs were looking at little worn so I took a break from the body work and swapped them out. Not as bad as some I've seen, but sagging on one side and rusty.

Edit: Took the 2.5 inch lift springs back out. Just to much rake for this build. Put some factory ride height springs I had in it. I like that look way better for this car.

Thanks, man! Not bad for my first time. It really just kinda falls into place. Except for that whole welding thing......
Are the quarter extensions different or does the bumper set where the old taillights should? Obviously you have to add the bottom valance metal where the old bumper was.

I know we discussed it before but it's funny cause iv always hated my grille but I love my taillights! But I love the grille on the 73-76 Plymouths! Iv thought about either swapping my front end with a 70-72 dart or 70-76 duster or scamp. I love the 72 tooth Plymouth grille

Quarter panel end caps are different. Also, left and right tail panels, center tail panel, bumper and brackets, and yeah rear valance all different on a 74 up.
Biggest pain was tweaking the rear caps to align them with the rear quarters. Especially since I had one broken stud. Had to drill and tap that for a screw.

Yes on the 72! Go for it! I'm done swapping for a while, haha.

I bet so looks like a ton of work!! It paid off tho it looks great! I probably just stick to my ugly beak! I embrace the ugly! Lol I would like to find a 72 scamp tho.
