1974 Scamp some assembly required

$35 doesn't seem that bad to me considering the actual ones that go there cost roughly the same.

Only way to see for sure if they'll fit is to measure and go from there...time to break out the calipers :)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that's $35 a piece. That's pricey to me, lol.
You can find Mustang wheels cheaper than those caps.

Thank goodness I took those older pics cause some dumbass (me) forgot to cut holes for the seat belt bolts! The holes AMD cut aren't even close. See it at the top center of the pic by the hammer? Must be for a different year setup. Think ahead if you do this!

One small step for a Plymouth. One giant leap for Dan-o.

After searching just a couple days for a 360 to stroke out I came across this 1979 van motor home smogger beauty. With a 727. PO (nice guy) said around 70k miles and runs nice, no smoke. Oil and trans fluid smells nice, looks clean. Underside of valve covers look good. Got the thermoquad, alt, distributor, ac comp, ps pump. Plugs look good too. Eff it, its gonna get a timing chain, oil pump etc. and get stuffed in there. Need a car oil pan and sump. He threw in a new set of repop 70-72 dual hood scoops, too! $600.

Snapped a few pics while I unloaded the engine and it was out enjoying the mid 70's weather.

@moparmandan excellent work in the Scamp! You’re doing exactly what I’m planning to do with my 75 Scamp.

Btw, as far as the bullitts wheel center caps, you can go to Lowe’s and get a chain link fence post cap and use that as well.

Finally! Someone with a good idea for a center cap! Where have you been, LOL?

Do you remember what size so I don't have to roll a wheel in there? Thanks!!!!!!

Lol! Well I can’t take credit for the idea, I’m stealing it from another member. I believe the cap is the bigger of the two post sizes. I’ll measure one of my caps this evening and let you know for sure on the size.

I ended up using a dip can, LOL. In case you like the flat look...........
AND I had to put tape on them also.

If you get to it. Your right there's only a couple sizes.

The post caps you would need will be the 2.5” ones
Well that would make sense since I started looking around my shop for anything 2.5 inches when I found a dip can that fit. Haha. Some spray paint can lids are 2.5 btw.....
