Went to Spring Fling at Woodley Park in Van Nuys yesterday. Another great turnout of Mopars, and not just from SoCal as I saw cars from around the USA and several Canadian cars as well. Also met a couple of guys who came over from Norway specifically looking for cars to take back home.
Also had a chance to say "Hi" to MtnThunder and meet both Crackedback and SoulSurvivor. Here's SoulSurvivor's nice '69 Dart:

I'm sure there's going to be multiple posts of pics from Spring Fling, so here's just a few of some Mopars you just don't see everyday.

How about a '56 Dodge Custom Royal Lancer LaFemme? Wikipedia claims about 2500 made over the 1955-56 production years and about 20 of the '56 versions remain. Check out the article for some interesting information.

Here's a really nice 1962 Chrysler Ghia L.6.4. One of 26 handbuilt cars and considered one of most collectible of all Chryslers.

How about a really cute Willys Jeepster?

And a nice Plymouth street rod...something you don't see at most all-Mopar events.

A companion event to Spring Fling was California Car Cover Company's annual muscle car gathering. One of our fellow Inland Mopar Car Club's members was invited to park their beautiful '37 Plymouth on the lawn in front of the store along with this pretty Hemi 'Cuda convertible.
The '37 took home 1st Place in the Street Rod class at Spring Fling on Sunday...

First off great pictures! Second there is something wrong with those rally wheel on the cuda but right now I just can't put my finger on it.

Some Very nice pictures you took ocdart :happy7:
I am so glad the weather worked out for everyone, a little hot but better then the alternative :blackeye:
I could not take my eyes off the gold dart with the blacked out 440/hemi hood in your last picture, made me think :love4:
And to see some great old MaPar's I have never seen :eek:ccasion: Thank you for sharing a great day in southern California.

Thanks for posting the pictures, that Chrysler Ghia thing is pretty cool!

On Sunday there was a 66 Ghia 450SS. One of 54 hand built. That car is actually an A-body!!!

450SS has 66 Barracuda front suspension, t-bars, front sub frame, 273 HiPo motor, 727 trans, 8 3/4 rear end drum to drum, chrysler leaf springs.

I'll post pictures later...

Lots of parts sold on Saturday. I mean some sellers went home real empty.

Here's some swap pics. Glad to see regular folk getting parts at good deals for thier Mopar they are working on....

I was there and ran into Timbola. I missed the rest of you guys. (I think). Ate lunch with a couple of dudes from Switzerland. Did you notice that Ghia still had the matching luggage and was listed as being a survivor car?

The guy who bought it was one happy camper.

Pics of really seen Ghia 450SS. Johnny Carson, Wilt Chamberlin, etc owned 450SS's. They cost around $13K new in 1966. Serious money then. New '66 Vette was under $4K.

It was parked just down from me and had a very interested crowd around it all day. It was a very solid car . I believe it sold early.
Talking about the GTS.

I was working on the 405 freeway friday night/early saturday morning and saw a few mopars heading north bound. I almost went on sunday but I didn't think there was any parking for my big rig! :?
