Hi, Im hoping to pull Dads cuda outta storage shortly and looking to replace intake gaskets. Any recommendations?
Rock auto lists Felpro MS90009
and Victor Reinz MS15148

Thanks
Steve

I've always had great luck with Fel-pro's but toss the end rail seals and use a bead of RTV instead and make sure you get the corners with the RTV good also. Also, don't let anyone tell you to put RTV on Fel-pro gaskets. They have a sealer impregnated in them and using a sealer on them may conflict with what is in them and cause things not to seal.

The Fel Pros are a steel shim gasket. I sprayed them with Permatex copper coat and used Mopar black silicone for the end seals and on the corners. I let mine set overnight before I started it to let the silicone end seals cure. tmm

Thanks guys, just chkd Mancinis and they have a lot of Fel Pro's to choose from. have to figger out which ones. I may be pulling heads for some DIY porting on them.
Any idea how big I can go either in gaskets or on the ports?

Not all Fel-pro's are steel shim gaskets. They make a few different gaskets

Do you have something (a caliper) to measure your ports? I always like to match them as close as possible without any overlap into the port

Steve, I used this style gasket on a lot of "stockish" engines.....

It's close enough to the stock size that a little cleanup toward them, about a inch deep, will make a nice clean looking port. If you're pulling them to play with, keep in mind that the port matching, while nice looking, wont have nearly as much effect as a nice bowl clean up. That's really where the most improvement on stock heads is achieved imo.

I really like the felpro print-a-seal type. I buy this sort of part locally. To see and know its correct and not damaged is worth the extra dollar spent.
