340 t bars bigger than 318?

as the title asks, are the t bars from a 340 car bigger than a 318, and how do i tell the difference??

Measure the diameter...
Torsion bar diameter's:
Slant Six,273,318......810"
340........................870"
383........................890"

340 bars were bigger UNLESS your car was a certain year (not sure what years or possibly all years of 318/AC a-bodies) AND had air cond OR was ordered with the handling package.

Then again after 30-plus years you just never know. I would build a slant a-body without, at least , .890" bars and a front sway bar.

Look on the ends 890 / 891 are 318 bars, 892 / 893 are 340 bars. I have found 340 bars in 318/ air cars as stated above.
