My 65 GT convert is the same yellow color (Code 88-1) with a black top and black interior. Originally a slant/904/7.25 rear but probably going to end up a 340/904 8.75 rear.

This was a 273 but now will have 360. Here are some pics after we sandblasted the bad areas on top and underneath .We also put por15 on floorboards and underside this is as far as i got this fall then snowmobile season started so it was garaged but will come out in a couple of weeks!! I ordered most parts i needed today. I was told that i have a rare go go dart so i will keep the black stripe running down drivers side. I have some numbers that are stamped into my vin plate i am unsure why they are there?

cool car man. welcome to FABO and good luck. BTW i think the frown on her face will turn upside down the first time she gets to drive "her" car with the top down!

got the bottom done today and then painted. I will flip it over and start the rear quarters next week!! I see the camera needs to have the date changed

Son7771 : Outrageous progress ! Mighty fine work there , sir .

This is the very first time I've ever seen an early "A" with a brake booster ; if it had the factory discs to go along with that booster ... !

Are you going to dress the 360 to appear like the 273 "Charger" ? That'd be boss !

Great project! You're subframe ties and torque boxes turned out good too.
What brand is your 1/4 patch? It looks like a pretty quality piece. toolman

Thanks It had the booster but it had 10" drum brakes. I converted to disk with 5 on 41/2 and a 81/4 suregrip on back. At this time i am just leaving the 360 stock but i have a wrecked 99 dodge ram sitting in the driveway and i may convert the car to fuel injection next year. I was planning a complete rebuild of the 360 but i am getting close to the budget i had scheduled for this car. So if it runs fine this year i may just do the rebuild next year.
I got the patches through rockauto.com along with alot of other parts. They have good prices and shipping is fair. But they did not have some in stock so i got the others thru goodmark and they came out about same price and they had plenty in stock. Yes they are nice thick steel and i am happy with the fit. Alot better then trying to make them!!!

I am surprised 65Dartcharger isn't all over this. Does the car have a fender tag? By the color, stripe, power brakes, power steering, etc. the car could have come with a Charger 273. Great progress on your Dart.

Yes he did contact me and i do have a spring order only GO GO Dart It came factory with the stripe and the cragers But it is not the charger dart.

This car is one of the rare go/go package Dart GTs. They were offered by Dodge from April 1st. They were all yellow and could be ordered with stripes. These cars could be ordered from all Dodge dealersand were assembled at all their plants.

Enclosed is picture from the sales broschure. Good luck with the resto.
