71 Duster HEADERS

Good day am looking for headers to but in my 71 Duster like to no which one are better fit for the car .Any help be nice thanks

Dougs and TTI are both good brands. You have to pay the price though.

Check out Schumacher Tri-Y headers. That's what I run on my 73 Sport.

Dougs are on sale right now, I just bought a set for my Dart. I have TTI's on my Demon, can't go wrong with either brand.

Also my car has power steering and 4 speed does any one have pic off something like this in stall in a 71 Duster

My brother's dart is in fact a power steering, 4sp as well.

4 speed you'll likely have to modify the z-bar a little bit.

Doug's or TTI's, you WILL have to modify the z-bar for either of those headers. It's the same modification for both.

Stock A-body small block z-bar, cleaned up for the next modifications

Modified according to the TTI specs. I run a set of Dougs D453's. Mine's a 74 with a spool mount K, but essentially it's all the same headers and z-bar mods for the 4 speed regardless of the type of K.

ok that great info .But dont like spending that much for header There must be some cheaper one that fit ok to.

Cheap stuff goes under the center link unless you put on shorties which aren't cheap either

Nothing cheap fits well. And by fit I mean going under the center link is NOT a good fit.
