she is darling. My girls are 6 and 2 and they want nothing to do with my car. Except picking the paint color. They chose pink and purple............

A little more done today, finally finish the mini tubing welding, inside the trunk and inside the car.

Dynalites 4 piston calipers. for solid rotors on the rears, and Dynalites 4 piston calipers for vented rotors up front,

The only difference from the front and rear calipers are the little spacer installed by wilwood in the center of the caliper halves.

thanks ! , another question those rx7 rotors are for what year model ?

your dart going to be bad *** for sure , going to put a turbo ?

Front rotors are of a 1990 Mazda RX-7 TurboII
I use the factory smal bolt pattern drum brake hub and redrill em to the big 5x4.5 bolt patern.

Turbo? Not yet, i am going to run an all motor street setup cuz the car is going to be a street car but if the power i end up is not to my like i will go turbo eventually with just a change of injectors, ecu maping the cam and head gaskets to thicker ones and a nice 76mm gt45 turbo will do the trick.

is that scoop pointing the right way??...just kiddin ya know.....if fact.....it looks better than most options

go search ebay for the calipers, call aerospace for the brackets and go to your advance auto parts and ask for the Nissan Maxima 05 model year rear brake rotors.
LOL

I had a look at thier web sight but no brackets?

I kinda just have to sum up the brake system for myself;

Front:

redrilled to 4.5" sbp pattern drum brake hub

1990 mazda rx7 turbo II front rotor

Willwood dynalite calipers mounted on custom brackets.

Rear:

Willwood dynalite calipers

2005 Nissan Maxima solid rear rotor

Aerospace components bracket

What about bearings and seals?

Any machining to anything, other than redrilling hubs?

This is looking like a really economical way to get 4 wheel disc brakes and a 4.5" bolt pattern!

I have sbp drum spindles etc..

U got it right, no other machining other than re drill the front hubs, in the rear i got axles from Moser Engineering so they are already 5 x 4.5 and yes i have to open the holes from the rear rotors to accommodate the 1/2 inch studs remember they are 12mm from factory, as my axles are custom made i order em with the hub centric to the Nissan size, but you can grab a die grinder and open the center hub a little is not that much of a difference.

the bearings on the rear are green bearings

Engine mock up will be next, just to fabricate motor mounts and leave everything ready for final engine installation,
By the way talking about the engine, Pistons are on their way, so soon to be sent to the machine shop to get it worked.

It is going to be a 440, .040 over, Probe Forged Pistons, Eagle H beam connecting rods with ARP2000 bolts, 440 Source 1/4 inch mains griddle with their windage tray, Edelbrock heads, Comp cams flat tapet high energy cam and lifters, comp stainless roller rockers, Victor RPM single plane intake, tti headers, EFI system (custom), 4 speed 833 hydraulic custom clutch operation, Pro Comp distributor, MSD 6-AL box, Firecore plug wires, Milodon 7 qt. oil pan low profile.
I am hoping to be in the 475 to 525 HP range on pump gas.

I seriously neeed to get out there and see the beast being built by the master genius. This is just amazing

I would remove the torsion bars from the trunk lid,as the braces need to have thier wheel well spot welds drilled out.

what size rear tires are they? and when you tubbed it do you have to mess with the truck hinges?
Hi sorry for the late response, i am very busy with a customer car,
The rear tire is a 325/50-15 but i think i am going with a 275/60 or 295/60,
and on the trunk hinges i really just cut the offset extension and fabricate a little strip of sheet metal and weld it to the hinge support and then to the tub, nothing fancy and very simple and easy to do,
