If that list all worked in the same place, had an unlimited budget, they would have to raise he national speed limit to 120 and create a left passing only lane for the entire national highway system.:burnout:
By the way OW thats VERY cool!
Andrew

with you on the team ...they would have called the Chevy "volt"

the Chevy "thermo-nuclear reaction " ....just say'n

I feel I need one of these disclaimers statements that says " the owner of this Thread is not responsible for the opinions or comments made my other members and may or may not share those opinions".

Okay now that damage control is done.....it's time to go weld on the hood then sip on some of the Apple Pie Moon shine I brought back last week from North Carolina made by Junior Johnson.

The apple pie moon shine sounds delicous! If I havent told you I will now, the hood looks fantastic. :coffee2:

First, how the hell did you powder coat your Nuts?!? :-k And second, why is HemiDenny staring at them and critiquing them for a self glorified award?

I'm speaking of the "nuts" on his car...of couse....maybe you had to be there....and what were you thinking of???...LOL

and BTW....his award IS well deserved!...he definainatly is a master craftsman!

sorry for the hi-jack Ross....were just killin' time till Wed...alert Mark if it's not too late.

Well the welding on the scoop is complete a little body filler and I think it will look good. I started capping off the bracing and just for kicks I put the cut out piece back in and now I will try to incorporate it back in to position....if not I'll make some reinforcement from scratch. About 5 p.m started on the moonshine and by 10:30 p.m I was cooked.

Looks mean, like it'll swallow you if you get too close :)

I'm waiting to see how you will blend the front section.

:coffee2:

The plan is to remove the top factory dips around the headlights and make them radius up to match the "new" skin. The bottom lip and front point will remain untouched to match up to the grill contour. Don't worry, I'll post pics when I get that far.

did you change that one header tube?....the one that was next to the.....you know

Edit... obviously a few to many Jack cokes last night.

Very NICE work on the hood. Hope mine comes out that nice with little warp-age from welding.

Well here's the post a few people have been waiting for...... The Final test fit for the "NEW" Super Slammer suspension, everything fit perfect, moved and articulated without any issues plus just plain looks Bad ***. Now for the body modifications to making it all work, I split the inner fenders and added 1 1/2" to give the car travel without bottoming out on the inner fenders, secondly I split the Transmission and driveshaft tunnel again adding 1 1/2" and third raised the Engine/Trans combo 3/4". to give more ground clearance.
If you want to run a 26 1/4" tire up front these modifications should be on your list of things to do unless you want clearance issues.
The cool thing about adding 1 1/2" to the fenders is it now has a perfect spot to 'tuck" a support tube into nice and out of the way.
My custom console arrived it's very nice quality and heavy duty. And what visit would be complete from Denny without another list of modification, this latest one's will be taking a few years off the ol' Duster, making it a real "Muscle Car" (in his words). I agreed with him and now.. 1 more step forward and 2 steps back..more on that later
