73' B3 340 Duster pro touring build

Ross your work looks great! I should really start getting on here more to check it out.

Just think if the body hadn't been gone for 16 months (and counting) where I'd be...so as long as it hasn't been more than a year or so since you checked in, you probably haven't missed much.

Somebody told me that this is where you're supposed to post pictures
of projects that have been under construction for a long time but aren't
done yet.

Here is Weeb's Max Wedge clone '63 Fury Police Car. All of the tough
stuff like body and interior have been done for some time (years).

Engine and trans are there. Maybe he will (sometime) finish putting it together.

He keeps swapping around the about 29 sets of wheels and tires he has
for it and sometimes rolls it in and out of the garage.

I think he needs an intervention.

I first thought "whats he talking about its only been 2 years" but then I looked back at my first post and realized last month I hit the 3 year mark....looks like it's gonna be a 5 year build.

I managed to get the metal filler panels for the grille/hood header panel made and welded in and also add a couple pieces here and there to complete the Radiator cover panel.

At least you're always doing something. More than about any five other people.

Just a little ball-busting to occupy my time.

I really can't believe that it has been 3 + years...although since the body's been gone for a total of 16 months (and counting) I don't think that time should count against me.

Love that plug wire deal (never seen anybody do that before).

I ran across this looking at 2013 SEMA pics...(second picture) looks like the same wiring idea and extra tall valve covers.

Forgot that I did the same thing to my dads 68' Road Runner wires back in 2000 .

Whoa! I never knew about Dave's '68 RR (my 1st car).

Unusual with the Classic Haulage 1x4 Hemi air cleaner which
matches all of the other aluminum finish items.

Denny, Weeb and I visited Ross and Dave today in Akron.

Went to Dave's and looked at all of their stuff, took some parts
to Ross and to Dave's neighbor.

Went with Dave's neighbor Rod to see an awesome Hemi Dart under
construction at Rod's friend's Bob. Ended up buying a bunch of Dart
sheet metal from Bob.

Went to Summit and bought a clutch and flywheel assy for Weeb's
4-speed conversion.

Then went back to meet with Ross to go to his body shop and check
out his Duster body in process.

A full day and a good time was had by all.

Thanks Ross and Dave for the hospitality!

I'm glad the Duster was at least in primer for your visit. I wish it wasn't such a busy day for you guys....we didn't even have time for lunch.

I told Tom (painter) I felt bad about having him mix some paint for test sprays and then drop the Color bombshell on him at the same time...I think the Viper color out, it has blue in it.

I liked the Ferrari gray a lot, but so many possible choices.

hey Ross....nice to see true progress on your ride.

thanks again for puttin up with us boys......you are lucky we are 2 hours away. We would drive you nuts!!

Nice work! Tell me you live in a 1 bedroom house with a 7 car garage and a hanger and you're my new hero! Wish I had your garage.

Thank you for your service. Keep up the great work.

Went with Dave's neighbor Rod
Forgot to mention (FORGOT!!!) that Rod builds engines, including the ones for their
Canadian Charger (looks like a Cordoba) Quick 16 car. The 624 cu in Predator headed
wedge pushes his son to 7.40's!

Also, Bob's caged Dart is a STREET CAR! It will have an all-aluminum Hemi based on an
Indy Max block with dual F.A.S.T. EFI like Ross's. It has an aluminum cased A833 4-speed,
a 4-link and a fabbed rearend housing with a 9" Ford center section. Bob says it will be
done next summer. He plans to paint it white.

I wish I knew how to use photoshop I would love to see a couple of my color combos and layout's in a picture to get a better idea, The guy I used in the spring stopped answering my emails. If anybody knows of a good source let me know, I did contact a professional rendering guy but he wanted $ 800.00...way out of my price range.

After seeing your motor, that's surprising. Not that you wished you knew
how to use Photoshop, but that $800.00 was out of your price range!
