Doing a great job. I hate to paint this time of year.
BTW it appears that you did not remove the front right marker light...

I wanted to give yall another chuckle yuk....:read2:

Did yall know it was almost a little over a year ago today that Fern came here and we started this thread?:clock:
My how time flys. This was supposed to be a FAST restore on the front burner. Here we are a year later!!!

Lets look at some before and after pics!
Notice the newer paint gun (first time for gravity fed gun today)
No signs on the fence a year ago either...
Life spins in circles....we have gotten to know alot of fine people this past year.
Looking foward to next year with FABO!

Cheers!8)

I am so excited about FERN being painted. I love her and the green! Can't wait until the inside is all put together. Can't wait to take for a cruise showing off her new paint job. The girls at work won't make fun of me then in my car with the fancy paint job. :bootysha::bootysha::bootysha::bootysha:

looking good, a year ain't bad at all, with the work you did, and the work you had to do to pay the bills, looks great, now give the lady the keys and get outta her way.

Mark

Great job!! Looking mighty good, all the hard work has payed off. Even Vinnie and Lex seem to approve and ABB seems plenty anxious to drive Fern!! Rog

awesome job.... cant wait to restore mine its slow going tho :( this thread keeps me energized to work on the ole girl. I'm a 4dr fan too...i think its because everyone hates em. i wish i still had my 66 fury 4dr...

Well,I have to say this has been one of the most enjoyable reads I've read from beginning to end !!!! Awesome job despite all the pitfalls !! You've taken on far more than I could imagine doing with great results !!!ENJOY,I have !!!:cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers:

John. Great job painting. please tell me you have marker light to replace the broken\missing ones! I will feel bad as a few weeks ago I got rid of a whole set.:angry7:

Hey John, if ya give Betty a hand, you can get Fern finished up so we can see the finished product! lol just kidding. Anxiously waiting for finished pictures. Great job.

now just get you some early style side marker lights and smooth those in and get rid of the 'stick' on marke lights..:)

Too bad you didn't just weld those up. I'm not a big fan of the 72 and up marker lights. I remember trying to take them off my 72 and breaking the mounting points. I just siliconed them back in place.

Oh by the way really nice driveway paint job....I would of probably had more than one run in the paint..probably a few wasp..nats and flys...now about them bumpers..:) I little sectioning and tucking..get rid of the shock absorber things...
