The spacer i found is identical to the top alternator spacer between the alt bracket and the cyl head. So what i think happend was, the alt was replaced and the spacer dropped to the k frame and the guy just replaced the spacer, and the old spacer was left on the k frame.. The spacer is 1 1/2 " long thanks
