I am just so disappointed that I’m infected. Especially after I double check with them.

Update: The infection is/was pretty bad. They have it under control now. But they will be cleaning my incesion and packing it for at least another week or so. I’m feeling better now and finally eating half decent.

Update. My infection is totally gone. I am starting to heal up from the inside out. I am so happy!!! The hotties have been taking great care of me. They are gonna keep changing the dressing till May 09 till I see my surgeon. Thank u to everyone that has posted in this thread. I really appreciate it. Kim

Good to hear that you're on the mend.
My incesion is finally healed up. I feel lots better but am still weak and tire easily. I had great help from Home Care and the nurse’s. My return to work date is July 22. Thanks to everyone here for the prayers and well wishes. Kim

Jeez I was 27 when mine popped. Can’t imagine what it be like with some maturity! Takes a long time to sit up after they unzip you there. Sucked to have a cough or heaven forbid laugh! Feel for ya. Glad it’s doing better. Cheers

Got the news from my surgeon last Friday. I’m cleared to go back to work. Not sure when I will go back as I have a hell of a pain on that side. The surgeon didn’t seem concerned and said the pain will go away soon. I can hardly bend or twist. I’ll go back when I feel I’m ready. Kim. Thanks to everyone that posted in this thread. It’s very much appreciated.

Back to work yesterday August 24th. 6 pm to 10 pm of light duty. Was t too hard on this old man. Kim
