No, need an adaptor kit.I have a chance to purchase one.
Do they mate to a standard Mopar
727/904 transmission?

it will sound a bit different. more compression and getting the cam ground. aiming to run bottom 8's
i'm not sure if there is new cam cores (never looked into it), going to regrind this cam.I'm kinda surprised how many of those motors seem to pop up, is it even possible to get cam cores if you wanted to do a new cam?
yes you are correct, it can be a nightmare. engine is complete. If buying used NASCAR stuff...be very aware that almost all teams did different things at different times. Lots of the various used parts, don't work well together.
Have a friend who went thru hell to get his working. It's a bad-*** car, though.
No, need an adapter, and only a couple of guys I know make themI will be following this one close!
I thought they bolted to a small block trans as is. Interesting
Your other motor sounded awesome, can’t wait to see a Dyno sheet on this one!
my W2 engine was faster then that. must be 3600lbs to run that slow.Guy at our local track races points with that setup, has a duster. Runs 6.30 ish typically, 20’s in good air.
why restrain from buying it? only live once... heheThere's s local guy selling his complete twin turbo R5P7 setup. It's taken a lot of self-restraint to not reach out to him about it.
I've always wanted to tinker with one of these.

R5P7 twin turbo
no dyno time, straight to the race trackYour other motor sounded awesome, can’t wait to see a Dyno sheet on this one!
It’s probably 3000-3100 with driver.my W2 engine was faster then that. must be 3600lbs to run that slow.
in the Omni it should run high 5.50's -5.60's
why restrain from buying it? only live once... hehe
Do a sound bite, at least!no dyno time, straight to the race track
It's the short stroke that makes them touchy. J.RobIt’s probably 3000-3100 with driver.
Runs a glide, maybe convertor isn’t quite right, but it’s super consistent, he won the bracket final race couple years ago with it.
Have a buddy who went 9.40 at 143 with that deal with a 904 about 3000 with him in it.
Getting the convertor right isn’t easy. p7 deals I have seen don’t set the world on fire considering what the heads flow.
Chassis mods to get them to fit, convertor, headers, adapters. To me they aren’t worth the trouble. You can go just as fast with Indy heads, and come close with even Bloomers.
I will run it on the run stand before going in car.Do a sound bite, at least!
