Means after a .60 over bore cement in half the block to keep the cylinder walls from shacking or loosing compression , on 400 blocks the webs n outer of the blocks are thicker than any 440 ever built and can take a over bore up t0 . 60 the 71 72 400 even bigger overbore . Hope this helps ..

Which ever way you go have the block sonic tested. Have read in more than 1 spot that the above is not necessarily true.....others say it is, so to be safe sonic test it. Last motor I built I ended up with several hunks of scrap metal, walls just were not thick enough.....
