Haven't seen it all by a long shot, but have been messing with mopars since I was 12 in the 70's....

In getting the last few things wrapped up on Fred the Dart Sport with Josh my son... sourced the right PS pump bracket, got it installed the other day and the wheel wanted to whip hard to the right upon start up. Being 52 years old, I'm not surprised to find anything. That being said, this surprised me. Ended up stealing it out of the PS box on my 68, just to get him on the road.

Yup. Someone had it apart before. Was missing one of the little O rings and the other was pinched in half. Yeah it leaked bad at the first start up.
 

Lotsa folks been injured sticking their arm thru the steering wheel to start engine and the wheel whipping over.
IIRC there a safety warning in the Service Manual.
The housing moves front to back to center the steering direction, bolts fairly tight, gentle taps .
