Those shell casings are cool!

Definitely different! He ended up with ten different colors on 50 of them. He sent me a message advising he had sold out the day after they arrived at his house! His biker club cleaned him out.
Here's the rest.

Dang! How do you fix the little cracks and casting boogers in Magnesium before you coat them? I can see why you wouldn't want to do any more. Imagine if that set was a REALLY good pair!!

Most coaters use endless layers of primer and cover up defects. I learned long ago that took longer and gave substandard results so I do bodywork on literally every part that crosses my bench. Aluminum is my favorite, and intakes hold a very special place in my heart.

Mag can tear up my carbide bits but are generally the best method of attack, along with smoothing / feathering edges with riffler files and sanding. Most mag castings have too much metal and overflow the molds but these were missing a lot instead. The factory had a $hit ton of paint to cover it all up.

Turning the proverbial sow's ears into silk purses. Very impressive.

New Powder **** for my first FABO customer in quite a while! It was fabulous meeting you and your son yesterday Kris!! :thankyou: I hope you guys love it!

Here's some high quality Jeep springs and transfer case brackets. Unfortunately my newish phone decided the Before Pictures weren't worth saving or something.

Yesssss, powder is a perfect choice for springs too! More flexible and long lasting than paint, they suck to blast -- I won't lie lol -- but will last a lifetime of never touching them again.

Get with me soon if your build schedule involves the 2024 show/race season! (Check out PirateShip.com too before you ship -- they'll save you a small fortune. I'll use them to send your stuff home too for extra savings.)

Thanks for letting me have a hand in your project!

You do amazing work. I just wish I had time to send you my intake manifold....

I've been busting my *** the last couple years to eliminate backlog and provide shorter turnaround times for everybody. Fall/Winter can get swamped though -- I have a few in line now but [hopefully] that will change here shortly into a traditional Really Busy Season. It's been kinda lean since November of 2020 ... and I don't blame the customers. I'm not spending anything I don't have to either.

A few teasers of the latest, a large 7-color spread so involved I'm going to call it Ben Hur! Balancing variances in steel and aluminum parts in the quest for uniformity can be a challenge on certain colors. Only the white and black wrinkle weren't candy translucent with metal flake. I'm tickled with how it all turned out! I hope Johnathan is too.
