So got a little more done, all the machine work is complete, got it final washed and ready for assembly. @Earlie A is supposed to buy this thing when we are done, so per his request I shot it with Chrysler red, although it shows up more orange in the pictures.

Knocked some core plugs in her, and got the cam bearings installed with my hydraulic cam bearing installation tool. This tool was crazy expensive, but it makes bearing installation a breeze. No more hammering them in the old way!

Were you planning on checking the torque to turn the rotating assy?

What’s the ring pack on the pistons?
 
Hey @Earlie A , I apologize if I've already asked, but what are you thinking about dropping that into :D ? I'd liked to have had that in my '76 Warlock I had "once upon a time..."
 
More boring work, file fit and debured the rings, hung the pistons on the rods and verified deck height. Coming along none the less.
