My daughter wanted a better car and after looking around, she decided she wanted a Pacifica. It warmed my heart that she wanted a Mopar. She bought a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica with 90K on it last night. While there I talked to a couple of sales guys about the Challenger SRT8 and they told me that they are bringing back the Barracuda next year. This is unverified, and I have no idea if they are going to old school style or a new design, but it ought to be interesting. I did look at a new Dart Rallye, and it made me want to cry. Might as well call it a Neon and be done with it.

atualy i have done alot of research on it they are bringing back the cuda it is a bit shorter than the charger and will have a turbocharged hemi in it ill look for the pics i believe they are going for the 70 cuda look. but you cant tell with the black covers over it. we will see when they reveal it if i shot my self or not rofl. also its under the srt brand because of the no longer existing Plymouth. actualy i found it lol here are the pics of it.

exactly ....looks like a camaro with a big forehead .

where were those pics taken ......the background looks like europe ....kinda disturbing that a car like that, with a name like that is not in Detriot for development......im surprised it not a 4 door

yeah...looks like a camero...which is ugly to start with

Ya saw a picture of one of those on facebook a couple weeks ago, my first thought was wtf that looks like a new camaro. I was hoping that it was just a prototype and they'd change the look.

"Under the SRT banner." Yet another sign that the nails are going in the Dodge coffin. But hey, the trucks are Rams, the Viper is SRT, the 'new' Barracuda is SRT...the only things left will be the Charger and the Dart, so no need to keep a brand alive on 2 models. Heck the Dart is a Fiat/Alfa re-skin, the Charger an old E-class Benz chassis, so what is a Dodge these days?

:finga:I don't think kindly,of a Camaro with 350z fender flares.Not with SRT,or the Mopar logo on it.

Now that is one butt ugly car! Too much plastic bullshit and rounded front nose with a frankenstein forehead. They better go with the 4 headlights because it does look too much like a camaro. Chrysler has lost their vision just to make a buck. Maybe ask the customer or potential customer how they would build it. I will keep my Demon or any other old mopar because the new ones are becoming a dime a dozen.

I haven't seen pics of the Cuda before. But - I'm not a fan of the first rereleased Chargers (I like the current ones) and I'm no fan of the Challenger. IMO - the design approvers are not that affiliated with the older cars. Certainly not excited about them. But - the retro look is also going out. So I'd expect whatever they do to be modern looking - aka Camaro/Corvette/Mustang.
I like the Darts...lol. I'm waiting for the SRT version in the spring. Already talked to the dealership on one... and it's replacing my first gen Neon...lol.

At least the new Challenger looks like one.
Yeah, first thing i thought is that the new 'Cuda looked like a new Camaro.....
Ugh!

She will love the Pasifica, My wife put 70k on her 04 model and I traded it in for Casper (I don't ever get to see it) 2013 Dodge Avenger
The Pasifica is a very safe and does real nice on snow, is hers an all wheel drive ?
Ours was a 2 wheel drive and it had 149.000 miles on it when we traded it in.

Cuda Looks wrong!! chevey rear 1/4's on the barracuda, memike don't like....

My pasifica and 13,560 to put my wife in our very first EVER new car

She got a FWD version. We looked at a lot of AWD, but they wanted a lot more money and they were all so beat up. This one is very clean and well cared for. It ought to do well for her. She loves it already.

I think it looks like the result of a clandestine meeting between the camaro and a Ferrari.
Camaro in the front and Ferrari in the back.

We only had one problem with it, and I did allot of searching on the web
She drove it to a shop and they said it needed a new starter because it would just click, click, click then on the 3rd or fourth time the starter would kick in, well it was not the starter, I put a jumper wire from the -post of the battery and ran it to the mounting bolt of the starter and it never dun it again  for some reason the starters on these Mercedes engines they would not have a good ground :coffee2: why! I have no idea.
Saved me a bundle using the web to search out this problem
Just a heads up if it ever does happen, I was shocked to see this Pasifica pull off 20 in town driving to 23 MPG or more on the high way :coffee2:

i always thought cuda was a plymouth and they are no longer.shows how messed dodge is now they gotta use a plymouth name those guys need to get their heads screwed on straight.
