That's how everyone around here drives in downtown traffic.
Not long ago I saw an old man driving down the street with his right side wheels up on the sidewalk, so when the cop lit him up I just had to listen to that explanation.
"Traffic stopped in the way and he wanted to turn right at the next driveway to Mc Donalds."

LOL I work in Detroit and know what ya mean. I sometimes question what are people in the city are thinking when they drive.

I almost always drive the speed limit or a little under when the weather is good.
And as a bonus, i drive to road conditions, not like a lot of people who think it's okay to go 80mph on an icy road in the city.
They must think because they have an AWD or 4X4 that they are somehow exempt from speed limits and or driving appropriately to the road conditions/visibility.
When i want to run my Dart through the gears, i always go to a back street and go down it once to check for cops and other possible obstructions.
If all is clear, then i let 'er rip on the way back!
I can't afford speeding tickets and fines, it takes away from my beer money.
So yeah, i drive like an old man.........
But then again, i am one!

living in michigans winter wonder land i have learned that driving an AWD in the winter does not mean you will not get stuck...it simply means you will get stuck deep enough that i cant pull you out with my winterbeater and your going to have to call a tow truck

Since I am rural, I tend to drive a little more "spirited" than I do in town! I can't stand city driving, and hate drivers with no road ediquette, so I try to stay away from city driving at all cost!! Whenever I'm out with the kids in one of the cars, they beg, yes, beg me to do burnouts!! Yes, I usually oblige them!!
