Need the RED X for that....................not a good neighbor.I gave a neighbor an antique set of car ramps and Loaned him my good working set. When I went to retrieve them a month later when I needed them he couldn't find either set and said he didn't know what happened to them And never offered to replace them.
you can choose your friends but not your relatives!Brother-in-law borrowed our steam cleaner 6 years ago.
We finally got it back when he died from Cancer last year.
There's one thing to help a misfortunate guy out or do favors for friends but it's always a guy like you had there that takes advantage of your kindness. Mr. Stein my 87 year old beer drinking neighbor guy let me borrow his applicator to remove moss from siding. When I took it back he and his wife were under the shanty kicking back. I had one cold beer in my hand for Mr. Stein. When I gave it to him his wife said...wait a minute here where's mine? I had another "coldie" in my hoodie pocket for her. She smiled and said OK you got me...LOL. I hope Karrin and I are that fortunate at their age if I make it there.Neighbor used to ask to borrow my truck. Not a beater mind you, my daily driver.
Nah, so I'd drive him instead to get acetylene.
Last time he wanted to get lunch too and I declined. So he bought a truck and doesn't talk to me anymore. Guy was a real charity case
That brutal. He clearly doesn’t give a damn about anyone else’s property. I care for my tools and when I borrow my neighbours I take extra care making sure it’s not thrashed.Same neighbour borrowed my BRAND NEW Milwaukee drill (read $300) to work on his RV. I went over later in the day to see how he was making out. Told me that he was finished and proceeded to drag it across his asphalt driveway by the cord from under the rig...I stopped him quickly, but he had already scratched the **** out of the side.....I hadn't even used it yet!
asking to use my tools is like asking to borrow your wife or girlfriend.
