I don’t think any of these were trailered. Black 300 I think may be not restored

The red 69 Hemi Charger is untouched since the 1970’s. Same owner since 1973 and he was there taking questions. It’s got dents, scrapes and a 70’s metalflake paint job. FIRST time out in public in 30+ years.

Sometimes there are backstories that factor in. But would not be a factor with traditional judging.

Everything else is surely a daily driver, in progress. The 62? Dodge with the family drive 80+ miles the day before on the cruise.

For YEARS I have tried to get our club to add a class in our show that I wanted to call "Ratty but Registered". My plan was to encourage the ugliest Mopar that was complete and in running condition. THIS car of mine would be a top contender:

I was always vetoed when I brought up the idea.
I was going to sponsor the class with a handmade trophy and a $200 gift card to a NAPA store.

Very true…

At Spring and Fall Fling I’ve seen true in progress cars displayed and get the most attention. Painted shells, cars without seats, bare metal builds, etc

This is a FBBO members old wagon that came for years. Now, another person has it and he’s painting it is his garage (one piece at a time). And changing the motor.
