Steve, I fight myself with that question. The engine compartment is a nice gloss black and was already done. I don't want to pull the motor it would set this thing back several more weeks. I was going to do the white from the cowl/firewall lip up.

holy smoke, finally it is white! Had to fight through my bad back and dislocated shoulder but I got her done. Now the real fun begins!

That white looks damned sexy!! Glad to see you chose to do the bay as well...something you wont regret my friend! You doing stripes??

not sure what stripes to put on it? I did come up with the full vinyl trim so I might go with the factory black vinyl, still undecided though. I'm curious how much all the trim will break up the white.... ugh white...
The next step is getting the headliner in as I can not install the front and rear glass until that is done. I did get window reveal moldings so that will be a nice touch.

Anyone know if they can put the vinyl on after the glass is in and around the reveal molding clips or is it best to wait an put the clips on over the vinyl?

You don't waste time ! Looking good, sir. The white is outstanding on the notchback.

Been pluggin along as I can about 2 months behind where I wanted to be. I was really hoping to have it done for the Portland swap meet.

if the engine compartment bothers you, you could always paint the whole car black :D

notches look very nice that color, and your body work looks very good, at the level where black would work

personally, it wouldnt bother me one bit... she's gonna look nice whatever color you paint her

ya know, I thought about black also. I am going to run it as is. The black looks nice and was prepped properly and not spray bombed.

Car is looking great.

I always liked the stripes down by the rockers...red stripe on a white car looks good.
