Guess the horsepower and torque!

Still can't see much more than around 470, is it going on the dyno in the near future?
 
It should be on the dyno in the next 3 weeks or so hopefully. The engine builder is saying 470 horse and a little more torque. Do these 408's usually make much more torque than horsepower? Thanks
 
mine makes 3 ft lbs more torque than HP but I have a little more cam and lightly ported RHS heads , I am looking to upgrade the cam when I do the refresh this winter , currently 519hp and 522 tq if I remember correctly , going to shoot for another 50 of each LOL ! Ignore the douche comments some people just come here to type shyte for no reason , hell some of em don't even own Abody's .god forbid anybody especially a new member should actually get excited about building their car . Come say Hi at next years Moparfest !

That is plenty in an A body , you should have a lot of fun wit it , should surprise a few cars on the street .
 
Thanks for all the positive responses guys, this is why i love FABO, mostly everybody is supportive! This is my first mopar build. I just sold my turboed 08 mustang gt (my first car) when my grandpa bought his dart swinger to restore, i wanted to restore one with him! I grew up in the back of his 69 swinger and my moms 89 Mustang cobra so thats where i got my love of muscle! Started the project last yearactually on my 19th birthday, its like it was meant to be lol! The car its actually going in is a 69 GTS. Unibody was fully taken out and replace with a custom full frame, fully tubbed, springs moved inbored 4 or 5 inches (cant remember lol) and the car is now ready for paint! I can upload pictures when i get home if anyones interested. Im also looking at a 69 383/a833 for when this car is done in about march/April. Love the mopar community and will always be a mopar guy! I hate that most of these kids my age are into their little hondas and Subarus

Video doesnt work unfortunately knuckle!
The only difference between ours is that my motor is 10.5:1 , 800 CFM carb and 1 5/8 stepped to 1 3/4 headers, thats awesome!

Also, here's some pictures for you guys! The primer and orange car is mine (changing the orange to metallic charcoal (gun metal). The black and primer car is my grandfathers! Dont mind the 68 fenders on my 69, it will soon be changed ;)
 
Run a search on youtube.com for tystik440...the cam is a step or two from what you are planning but will give you an idea..
