Headliner install tips

I dug through the archives and came up with this link. I am going to be installing my headliner in my 71 Scamp. I thought this may help others in my predicament!

Edit: It should be noted, many asked about removing the glass. In this link it is out and after looking at the Scamp, it's coming out as well!

A surgeon has a couple of tools/instruments that are perfect for installing the headliner under the window gasket. I dont know where to get those tools though. I've seen a couple of same type tools that were homemade.
Just incase you haven't seen this tip before.. Cover those rear seat anchors in the floor. Otherwise they will eat your knees like a mad dog. I layed a couple of old hubcaps over them then folded blankets over the hubcaps. Good luck with it.
