I need a "test fitter"....close by

I have my little "test fitter" 66 cuda parts car here near Ann Arbor if that would help! I don't need anything right away, but would be willing to work with you to get a test bed down to you if needed! I'm just holding on to it because it is a 66. Fenders are already off and I'm keeping the hood, the rest ( besides the dash) can be cut, bent, drilled filled and tattooed as far as I'm concerned!! Let me know if you really need it and we can talk details!! Geof

lets work something out.

even after measuring 50 times....I like to test fit.
I do not need to drill anything, just bolt it up and do a pre-flight check.

Ann Arbor is only an hour away.

So how much ground clearance do you guys have on your oil & transmission pan?

Thanks,

Roger

Roger,
I never measured to the Transmission pan but I have almost 6" at the oil pan and since I have 5" at the frame/header collector and my transmission pan is definitely higher than that..my HDK is 5" also, Remember though I raised my engine/transmission .750".

After reading this thread and other members threads with HDK's.... I think it would be unjust not to put one in my '68 Dart convert. For what I want out of the car this is the only way to go. It will be sometime down the road ( life and other projects first). I have been out if the loop for a long time. What is the going rate for a sb kmember, bbp brakes and arms?

Denny have I joined the club yet?

I think the snow and ice held up your membership....cleared off today, so I expect to see your membership application.

I will let you know when the Eagle has landed.

Denny

Are you trying to say capisce? because the way you say it hurts my ears (My Blue Heaven) LOL

I googled it before I wrote it. It derives from the italian word "caipto", transformed to the word capisci. There were many ways to spell it in the urban dictionary. But, the general consensus is that as americans, we pretty much butcher everything anyways so anyway is really acceptable.

also see: kapeesh, capeesh, and capiche

:D
