I hear you ,but cant find you

THIS is taken from the same digitized 1970 Dodge Challenger Dart Chassis Manual.
And it shows the turn signal flasher location next to the ash tray housing.
I cleaned it up a little so it would be easier to see.
Really don't know what the diagreement is here.

Its in the same on my '67 Barracuda.
Its very hard to see never mind photograph, but now I'm just repeating what's already been said several times.

Not really much of a disagreement. The OP thought it was on the left side of the ash tray.
I just believe the original 2932877 flashers were round. No biggie.

With stuff like this I work more by feel than by looking.
When I was working in there sometimes I used a credit card sized mirror and a light to spot whatever it was I needed to look at. Once I know where somehting is I can generally feel my way from there.

As far as the hazzard flasher number, if its not too difficult I'll take a look this weekend.

You may be right. Maybe because the drawing is from the perspective of the front of the car.
There seems to bel agreement on the turn signal flasher be round.
The rectangular one is for hazzards - and I beleive that's original but don't know that.

Thanks. Just curious.
I'll try to find the original flashers that I have but with 2 semi trailers full of Mopar parts it may be a while.

Thanks to both of you Mattax and moparmarks for all your info and help sabre67 :thankyou::thumbsup:

If the signal flasher is metal housing in a steel clip... that clip has a single tang poked through a hole in the side of the tray hanger. Remove the tray and you can see that tang. You could likely push the tang out with a small screw driver, flasher with steel clip falls out as far as wire and dash allows. When the flasher changed to light blue plastic, the plastic had a rectangular nub on top. The metal clip disappeared. They poked the nub through the hole where that tang was once in and rotated flasher 90 degrees to secure it. Edges of hole bites the plastic.
Easy to get to if you dont have a/c vent underneath. I've owned a-bodies both with and without a/c. Without a/c I can change the flasher by feel only. anyway...
The a/c vent was held by 2 nuts on studs. Deep well socket goes through holes up from bottom. One or two small phillips head screws hold the vent to the main case near floor also. Best to remove those first. I'm guessing yours is about the same.

EDIT: I had the E-flasher and the Turn Signal Flasher Location confused. I have edited this post to correct that.

The NOS flasher is a tubular flasher, So I am still not sure if rectangular or tubular is OEM correct?

Well I have a different setup
Different than what?
Looks the same as mine except your car still has the original turn signal flasher.
Tung-Sol was one of Chrysler's suppliers for headlamps.

NOW I am more confused then before!
The 175 is the emergency flasher.

The round 223 on the ashtray housing is the turn signal.

There were different versions of the turn signal flasher that I've seen; long, short, and short plastic.
The later ones, short plastic, may have slightly different heating rate to go with the 1157 bulbs and if any sidemarkers flashed with the turn signal. I can't recall my '75 doing that but that doesnt mean much.

Turn signal is power from the accessory splice. Black wire. No power with key off.
Hazzard is powered from the main splice. Pink wire. Fused. Always hot.
