Summit had a trailer at Dragway 42 last weekend passing out a few 10% off coupons and if racers needed parts they could deliver at 8am the next day. I asked them about the new TrickFlow small block intake manifold and they said they weren’t available yet.

A new or different batch is almost at TF now...will take about 1-2 months before we know if these are any good.

It’s a shame our casting process is having issues in the United States like we are. Heck we used to cast our own Babbitt bearing in the steel mill in our Millwright shop. We cast them, our machine shop machined them, we frosted them and stacked them for measuring and wrapped them up till needed.

If there are casting flaws, its not likely the forge, its probably because of the EPA. We cant get things done the way they were meant to be done by these regulations. Even NASA got F'd by the EPA when they banned the original CFC type styrofoam insulation of the main tank. The stuff they used was more environmentally friendly but it was weaker and it F'n broke up on launch. I guess you needed something to offset the greenhouse effect of 3.5 million lbs of rocket fuel burning at lift off? Look at our paint today, worthless. **** doesnt last 10 years in the the sun. Urgh, this stuff pisses me off. OK, I feel better now.

Trick flow is about 5.5 miles from my house.

I have only heard about the TF SBM intake. Is it going to be possible to use it for multiport efi similar to Edelbrock Proflo4??

no efi injector bosses.....if you´ll go this route the EDE super victor is the easier choice.

I like the design of the TF-Intake, pretty similar to a holley Strip Dominator but with the square bolt pattern. Curious how it performs when they finally release it.

The Ede Super Victor is nice with its bungs already there, but too tall for me trying to also squeeze a throttle body with a hat (turbo setup) under a flat hood (Duster twister twin-scoop style, so can't center scoop it for more room). I wish TF made a MPFI version of their new intake. Or, at least cast-in larger bosses that could later be machined for injectors without having to weld and machine both. It looks like the little bosses in the runners of the TF intake are just big enough for a direct port nitrous nozzle. If I ever switch from the FiTech to a MPFI setup I guess I will have to take an M1, Strip Dominator, Victor 340, or this TF (when it ever comes available) and convert it by welding bungs and machining ($).
