I no longer have much spare money. And after thinking about it this just sounds like a LOT of work. I REALLY don't want a 4x4, and with 200k, there could be a LOT going on in the transfer, front end......... At least the driver's seat is torn up and the AC pump needs replaced. IF IT WAS A 2WD, I'd be out there right now!!

Even so I WAS tempted.......

Dodge 1 ton truck

Dodge 1 ton truck - $1800 (Athol)

I have a 4x4 1 ton Dodge truck for sale, body, transmission, rear end are all in good order. Has new tires on the front axle. Interior is not in bad shape. The engine how ever has some problems. After running for a short a mount of time the check engine light comes on and starts smoking white and running poorly. You will need a trailer to haul it home on, I would not recommend driving it. The AC compressor is seized up, and radio doesn't work. When its running good, has a lot of power and the 4 wheel drive work great. I do not have the time to repair it, so I just want it gone.

Sounds like a can of Blue Devil head gasket sealer is in order to fix the white smoke (unless we just got a new pope!).

I'm not a truck guy, but this seems like it may be a good deal.

What year and is it a diesel?
 
It appears to be a V10. The more I think about this the "less" I think of it. Let's get "real." "Just how much" is it going to take to put even a GOOD used engine in there, even if it was a magnum? And "good used" ones are getting REAL tough to find around here. Hell, I found a 2wd (which I would prefer) RUNNING although still a V10 for 2500 and another for a little over 3K

I don't think? You can bolt a mag up to a V10 bell?
