I would like to get some information, I would like to know if the exhaust manifolds from a B body 318 will fit my 318 in my 67 Barracuda? If not why, and what is the issue with them?
Thanks

Here are the numbers I just got off the manifolds. Well as best as I can tell
1st one 2843953 with 4195 under the first number
2nd one 2465718 No 5 with 04229 also written on the manifold.

are you sure its 718 and not 719 ?

318 1968-69 Barracuda / Right 2843953
318 1968-69 Barracuda / Left 2475719

it sure looks like 718 but I will try and sand blast them tomorrow and hope that will make it better to see. I think it is interesting that the 318 motor and trans I got my parts from came out of a 69 road runner but everything looks to be from an A body.

A Road Runner never would have had a 318 but looking at the casting numbers online the same ones are listed for small block a and b bodies.

Thanks for the info. that works out for me as I just cannot afford headers at this time.

Adam I don't believe that's correct. I could not find a good photo of a B body small block with manifolds, but I don't remember them wrapping around the steering like the A bodies do.

In fact, years ago I put a 340 into my 70 RR, and temporarily got a set of 318 manifolds and Y pipe from the junkyard, until I could afford headers for it. I'm sure I'd have used the A body exhaust if it would have fit.
