I have WTB posts for certain parts on the specific bodies.com and other sites. I get a reply back from someone who is not selling the parts I am looking for, but stating that they purchased parts from a specific person and give me their contact info and that they may have the parts I am looking for. So, I contact said person. They have everything I am looking for and even provide pictures of everything. Their prices are too good to be true, and even offer free shipping. They are persistent on ready to sell and ship. However, they are not a member to know who they are?

unless I can verify the number and call a private seller they aren't getting any money from me.
I'm still trying to track down the Nigerian harassing my mother in law.
Some F'er just put a cell phone number in my mother's name , she got a bill for $ 150. The guy freaked when I got a hold of him after the phone company figured out another number attached to it.
Told him I'd be knocking on his door come Monday, he lives about a mile away, the dumb F copied my mom's drivers license when delivering her groceries. lol

You get a reply back on where? Through a PM? Any suspicious things like that should be reported ASAP. There is a report button on every page.

Ask for a pic of the parts with a dated sign in them. That helps.
Pay with paypal so you might have some protection.

I think his intentions are good trying to spread awareness and knowledge. But yes simultaneous dialogues aren't needed.
