Well, he's a machinist by trade, he's an older guy now, but still gets a lot of people in asking for him to do work. He also used to be half owner of Cassidy Speedway. He has been into drag racing a lot too, used to race a late 50's 4 door Imperial up against the people in their Nova's and stuff, and was beating them all. He owns a 57 Desoto that has a 354 Hemi with dual 4 bbls, that car is near perfect, he is slowly working on it, added 4 wheel disc brakes, etc.
His daily drivers consist of a 74 Power Wagon, a 78 Cordoba, a 74 New Yorker 4 door, a 70's New Yorker station wagon, all these cars being original and near perfect mind you, and he just picked up a 91 Ram Charger, being the newest vehicle he owns, came with a 318 but he's dropping a 440 into it.
As for all the cars, most of them he owned at some point in time, the ones with roll cages he either raced or built for someone to race, most of those have 'Thanks Joe' written on the side somewhere, but a lot of them people have just givin him because being at his place they will never get crushed. Sure a lot are sitting rotting away, but there are plenty there he will sell, he sells a ton of parts to people, he probably has 40 1st Gen Hemi's collected in one spot, he shoved a 392 Hemi into a 56 Front end loader that he uses on a daily basis (that thing is nuts..), and he also has a thing for Caddilacs. But mainly big block Chryslers. If you look through that yard you will see maybe.. 4 small block cars. The best part is.. you could stand and talk with him for days and your brain would be so boggled with information and he could keep on going. He is incredibly intelligent.
