Hello. I'm in need of a tranny for my 76 Dodge 4x4 318 .motor.721 tranny. automatic 5/4 ton army war horse.i either pay 65 for new part that wasnt broke but assuming it is unknown what else, by last mechanic. Or opt for good used one about 60~130,which due to last wanna be that was under my (unauthorized)truck knows about as much about a tranny as a scank does about summers eve. lost reverse,But although it was a know brainer to what needed to be fixed/done (problem was easily fixed by doing a complete fluid flush and an adjustment to my linkage,)110% sure. a ''friend''aloud a 'F' n moron to crawl under my truck and.. Well what I'm assuming is now broke would cost $65 new but then who knows what else he tweaked. So instead of ending up at pull n save. Which I don't care who y'all are parts for my truck are not easily matched. It's an old military truck. To get all the specks go to military.com or google 76 Dodge 4x4 5/4 ton olive drab it'll pop up. It's the tuffest truck I'll ever own and I can guarantee it's old it's a beast but it will out pull push and carry and out live any new truck by far. Won't win the race but it'll finish. Been down now 11 maths several months back I bought a great tyranny from guy who later even gave me truck it was in but after few months althosr paid one way or another to help failed to do so. I'm either going to sell my beast's a parts vehicle for 1000 and no title goes with a parts sale. And believe me if it CES to that some one will have one great! F'n beast (all army stuff removed or stolen or painted over nothing inside bit green 3 switch Togo for black out ect. Controls. But I'll be a women scorned like no other cuzz .well. he's my beast. A Dodge. I hauled 2 8 man hot tubs in one load 4 times week. Didn't faze my beast a bit. I love my Dodge. But I can't see him die like this he needs to work. So I'll be angry. Any way. I'll Need proof tranny runs and or written guarantee. I will also be willing to buy complete parts truck it's in if it's a good match donor. if available. And also.
