Last day...

-

Thanks for the well-wishes. I know this is going to be a good move!

And yes, that's Dimebag himself lighting it up.... 8)

Man it looks like you made a good move before the ceiling falls on you LOL!

Good luck on your new job!

I never have heard how Dimebag died...do you know how he passed away?

Dimebag (Darrell Abbott) was murdered on-stage at a Damage Plan concert, his new band after Pantera disbanded. The VH-1 program Behind the Music did the Pantera story. Real sad to watch... there was video footage of the show. Here's a news report of the incident....

As for the job, yeah.... I had to make a move. It was overdue, but I wanted to make sure I had the right opportunity. This is it.

Thats got to be the worst Ive seen yet. I work in a chrys dodge jeep dealer. the conditions arent that bad yet. at this point the way the economy is I really dont want to change jobs and be the low man. some of the dealers have layed off techs as well as our shop got rid of our used car tech (pain in the ars b?tch) last week. my hours have been up and down 24 to 40 all through the winter. its a small dealer there are now 3 of us I'm the a tech and the other 2 are b techs. hopefully it will not last much longer.
anyhow good luck with the new job

Oh gosh! I didn't know that. Thanks for the info.

In the late seventies I worked for a Ford dealer and I know exactly what you mean about the guys running hoses. I`ve experienced those pounding headaches more days than I choose to recollect. Health has got to be a number one priority at work.

I second that.

Yeah... and the owners are a bunch of knobs to boot! When we lost our hot water heater last winter the plumber had to remind them that , BY LAW...., they have to prove hot water. The owners reaction? I quote: "F--k them animals... let them wash up with cold water".

I hope something heavy, sharp, and rusty lands on them.....

wow. I just got a new job at a subi dealership (parts) and the shop looks NOTHING like that. wow. good thing you got outta there when you did. Good luck at your new job.

Have you reported your old workplace? Thats the first thing I would do after leaving is walk into whoever runs safety there and show everything you've documented, you said you already have them not liking you so you might as well protect the dummies you used to work with from their own stupidity.

Good luck with the new job.

I'm on the fence about really stirring up the pot .... Part of me says do it, but another part says walk away. Whenever I would mention anything about the shitty conditions I was looked at like a cry-baby. And this opinion originated from guys whom chain-smoked, ate McDonalds on a daily basis, and were 20 yrs. younger than me. Hell...they were young and immortal! Who am I to argue with them!

Like I said, I wished them good luck and left.....

Hey John. It is probably best that you just walked away and wished them luck. They'll need it. When the young grow up and get wise, hope it's not to late for them. Young and stupid go hand in hand. Not careing is there problem now.

On and up for you brother, on and up!

change is usually for the better. good to hear your moving.

The right situation came along and it was time to fold up my tent and go elsewhere..... The earning potentional there was fantastic, but at what price.

Hopefully everything will play out as well as it looks like it will.

don't burn no bridges John, Let it be.8)
Spend you mind and time for your self and cross the bridge.=D>

I hope you have a great first day John, So keep us updated :drinkers:
