It's hard to see in that pic... but the radius where the lifter actually contacts is the same on both and that area is nowhere near the edge of the one on the left.

:cheers:Thanks man, thats what has happened on no.1 exhaust lifter.
I looked and noticed that no.1 exh was loose again, so adjusted it and then saw I had maybe 1 thread on top showing as the rest sat with about 2, when pulled the rocker shaft and yanked the lifter bingo...lifter boring.
I compared it to a mock up MP solid lifter I have for degreeing cams, I might just swap cups.
Thanks again and sorry if I doubted your thought on this, it's just.. well thats some weird **** right there and I never have had it happen while running even more psi than these springs.

the ball on the right is the fix to my lifter boring issue.
That looks like it will fix the boring problem for sure!!
