I checked one of the ones here.
It was 140@the 1.820 installed height.

145@1.800

300@1.300
317@1.250
332@1.200

This is a 311lb/in spring.

I think it’s the same springs as that previous set I had here, but for some reason those heads came with more installed height.
(They went on a motor with a .480 lift cam.
If the springs were at 1.850 installed height, you’d have 130 on the seat and 279@.480 lift, which is about how I remember them being.)

This set of heads does not have the 1.900 installed height that’s listed in the specs, and the springs are not 1.250” diameter.

I don’t know how it is that so many of these parts places can’t get the simple specs correct in their catalogs.

Awesome info ! THanks !

and why would he have inner springs with a mild hydraulic.
Put the dang cam in with the KY jelly and give it some revs for a bit. lol
Most cam failures are operator error or the wrong springs. I think more operator error and Walmart oil. lol

Depends on the lift. Much at all over .500 usually gets a dual sprAng.

If I'm not mistaken this jivs pretty much with what you found. I know on the bottom of the page was some of the stuff I let him know about the cam and rockers.. possibly stuff on the upper right hand corner could have been things I was telling him about the Springs that were on the car... I believe the Crowder springs on the Factory heads were 150 and 340 but I had much more duration and much more lift.. but I believe the little note on the left was all notes from the speedmasters..

you have a split pattern cam? Is the .505/.526 your lifts?

This comes across like you're calling me stupid?...
What does this sinuate?
"We are all here because we are not all there"
Mopar Sam's quote is "if you going to be stupid ya gotta be tough" ..... LOL

Is there a full moon tonight. lol or is a bad moon rising.

What did you get today that was going to make you lose 2 1/2 tenths..?..
I didn't do anything today that would make me loose 2.5 tenths. But, i did get a box that may help me lose 1.4 tenths giving me a 12.99 :D

Touchy, Touchy, Touchy
You are reading to much into it, I wasn't even going in that direction.
But if the shoe fits you may be correct

I know the Oregon cams come with a fairly detailed spec sheet...... what are the duration numbers at .020 and .200?

This is the purple performance 464 hydraulic cam that was in the 318 that came with the duster that was from a cop motor that had 360 heads and a windage tray...
Ground into this solid lifter cam back in 2014 when the Stroker motor was put together with 410 gears and 28 in tires..
A year later I took the heads off and had 202 valves put in and did a little home porting... The next year I put the 1.6 to 1 rockers on and took the factory 273 rockers off... It had an extremely rough idle and couldn't do anything under 3K.. and basically wouldn't even hold on idol for very long and I couldn't go around the corner and second gear and pull out of it without the valve train sounding like it was going to rattle right out of the car...
When I put the 1.6 to 1 rockers that brought the lift up a little over 600 on the exhaust...

In the summer of 2018 I took the cam and lifters in to ken and had a conversation with him... I told him I'm putting 354 gears in it and I want it to idle and I don't want it to make my wife's neck snap back and forth when I'm going really slow but I would still like it to have a little bit of poop...
Now I can round a corner in second and pull right up from 1500 RPMs no problem and it can sit in my driveway and seemingly idle for as long as it wants to...
