Moroso electric WP

I am running a Moroso electric WP #63565 on my 410 sb and was wondering if I need to use a thermostat with it or just a restrictor disc. I have a 185 stat in now but temp can creep up to 200 ish on open road.
I used same WP on my 383 bb with no stat without any problems.

I use a gutted thermostat as a restrictor on my 408 and the exact same water pump. I got tired of my thermostats hanging up after sitting over the winter. No issues what so ever. Thats my experience. Good luck
