One more time thanks mike for all your hard work.

no its just seating up stairs still need some more parts to put it together.
mike said that it should make 480/500 HP

Sooooooooooooo mike an estimate on the HP ON THIS SET UP?????

Not sure on the HP, but your combo is VERY similar to mine (except mine has Edelbrock heads and my cam is slightly bigger @ 248/254 duration). My car ran in the 6.90's all summer at Lucas Oil Racway Park (the old IRP).

I would estimate that my motor is in the 520-530hp range....yours should be close to 500hp. Bring it to the track in the spring and see what she does.

Your welcome. But the estimate was 480-500TQ.

Those numbers should be cake!

Think about this boys and girls: The right weight/converter/gear/hook and it will sneek into the 10's...all the while very streetable!

Get to wrenchin' ! ! !

Ok this what i am going to do.. My son has been hammer'in on me to get the dakota done. we just need some few thinks to get her on the road . i have had this thing for about 5 years now an i keep putting thing's in front of it. so he hads beat on me so much i had to gave in.

So i am going to put my motor in this dakota it is a very sharp truck. it is a back half truck 4 link set up 12 point cage dana 60 now it had 3.73 gears in it but who knows i may put some what i call taller gears in it. i will have to but some new headers for it jegs sells them for $450.00. so i will get them in april when i get my bouns check. this thing should rock . wish me luck. the truck will take less time an money to do then the dart.

but i am not done with the dart it will get done sometime soon i hope.
I have a ton of money in this truck as you can see. so it need to be done . with my 416 stroker motor in it it shoud be a fun truck...

you might want to check on the rules for having the fuel regulator mounted on the firewall..believe nhra does not like it there.
