My new 416 stroker is finally home

I'm following with interest, as stated earlier, from Aus.

I have just sold my 440 bb coupe on friday, and looks like I will be going 360 as the car I am looking at has a 360 in it.

My brother has just had a 360/408 stroker with w2's built, made 428hp at the tyres.

Finally got it on the chassis dyno.
It made 443 HP at the wheels.
I'll be going to the track this Sunday to see what it does in some cool air.
 
Have to love it when the staging lanes look like this.
I'll get 10s out of this with some more seat time. Car 4082 is mine. The Pro tree surprised me the first pass. After that I was doing ok with it.

Nicely done. You'll definitely be in the tens with a little tweaking to suspension, tire pressure, etc. Mine is making about the same power, but it took me a while to get down to the times you're putting down because my suspension needed some attention, and the headers I was running probably didn't help. Started with 7.3x 1/8, and got it down to a best of 7.06 with suspension adjustments. Can't wait to run it with the "new" headers.
